<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a new compound effective as an oral medicine, excellent in storage stability, capable of continuously developing strong pharmacodynamic effects and useful as a therapeutic agent or preventing agent for cardiac infarction, etc. SOLUTION: This compound is represented by formula I (R<1> is an alkanoyl; R<2> is an alkyl; R<3> and R<4> are each H or OH-protecting group; R<5> is a cycloalkyl, a substituted alkyl or the like; Q is CH2 CH2 or the like), e.g. butyl 9- acetoxy-11α, 15S-dihydroxy-15-cyclopentyl-16,17,18,19,20-pentanoylprosta-8,13E- dien-1-oate. Furthermore, the compound is obtained by subjecting a cyclopentenone derivative of formula II to addition reaction with a compound of formula III in the presence of an alkyllithium and an organocopper reacting agent to produce an adduct, reacting the adduct with a carboxylic anhydride, carboxylic acid-mixed anhydride or a carboxylic halide and then as necessary, carrying out deprotecting reaction.</p> |
