<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the occurrence of projection feeling caused by the ratio control of a CVT when vehicle speed is shifted from acceleration to normal running and the like without degrading fuel consumption. SOLUTION: This control device estimates the surplus quantity of torque Ti of an internal combustion engine, which is generated by the ratio control of a CVT, when it is detected that a throttle is operated to the closing direction, a target air-fuel ratio is corrected to a lean-burn side based on the estimated surplus quantity of torque Ti. The correction to the lean-burn side allows surplus torque Ti to be restrained, and engine revolutions are reduced in such a way as to coincide with that of ratio control. And concurrently, the occurrence of projection feeling is prevented at the time when surplus torque Ti is transmitted to the side of driving wheels.</p> |
