PURPOSE:To precisely perform proportional control for pressure reduction, by providing a detector for detecting the presence of occurrence of a reference acceleration in accordance with the pressure of supply from a pressure source, and by regulating the braking pressure in accordance with a detection signal from the detector. CONSTITUTION:When a deceleration detector 8 detects occurrence of a reference deceleration, a solenoid valve 7 is energized to confine pressure to be received by a pressure receiving surface in a pressure regulating valve 4. With this arrangement, a difference is produced in urging force between both ends of a piston 16 so that the pressure regulating valve 1 is closed to perform the control for pressure reduction. Meanwhile, when no reference deceleration occurs, supply pressure for a brake actuating device rises equally to the pressure from a brake valve 1. In this arrangement whether or not the reference deceleration occurs is dependent upon the load condition of a vehicle. Accordingly, it is possible to precisely control the pressure fed to the brake actuating device in accordance with the load condition of the vehicle.
