PURPOSE:To enhance velocity of color development processing by imagewise exposing a silver halide photographic sensitive material and color developing it in the presence of an aromatic primary amine color developing agent, an N,N-dialkylhydroxylamine derivative, and a 1-aryl-3-pyrazolidone derivative. CONSTITUTION:The silver halide photographic sensitive material has on a support a silver halide emulsion layer containing at least one of magenta couplers represented by formulae I and II in which Ar is a phenyl group having one or more substituent; R1 is alkyl or aryl; R2 is hydroxy, halogen, or the like; R3 is halogen, alkyl, or the like; X1 is halogen or alkoxy; n is an integer of 0-4; m is 0 or 1; Z is an atomic group; X2 is H or the like; and R10 is H or a substituent. This photosensitive material is imagewise exposed and color developed in the presence of the aromatic primary amine color developing agent, the N,N-dialkylhydroxylamine derivative, and the 1-aryl-3-pyrazolidone derivative. |
