PURPOSE:To reduce the running cost without increasing the capacity of a developing device, and also, to prevent an uneven density from being generated due to the excess of the quantity of a toner, by constituting the titled device so that the toner of an appropriate quantity can be replenished by its dead weight from a toner tank to the developing device, by opening and closing an image forming device divided into two. CONSTITUTION:A toner image converted to a developed image is transferred onto a transfer material, and thereafter, the toner on this transfer material is applied or heated by passing through a fixing device 10 and fixed. On the other hand, the toner remaining on a photosensitive drum 1 is collected by a cleaner 7, and the photosensitive drum 1 which is cleaned is utilized again for an image forming process being below electrification by an electrifier 4. When a toner T is consumed, a toner pool is generated in a toner tank 12. In this state, when the upper side split body 100a of an image forming device 100 is opened in the upper direction centering around a shaft 11, the toner tank 12 is inclined, a residence toner TB is moved by its dead weight to a developing device side, and the toner T of a proper quantity is replenished.
