PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inexpensive wall panel protecting material which can pack wall panels of a bathroom unit easily in a short time and can protect the wall panels against vibration and being unfastened and shifted during transportation. SOLUTION: The wall panel protecting material with an approximately U-shaped cross section includes an upper face 2 and a lower face 3 each formed with a notch of 90 deg. starting from the center of a ridge, a protrusion 5 on each of ends of the upper and lower faces in an internal lengthwise direction, and a crease 7 which can be folded inward via a line connecting the above-mentioned two start points provided on a back face 4. Two wall panels with a reinforcing material are overlaid with their decorative faces facing, and the wall panel protecting materials are attached to side faces and corners on their periphery.
