<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a handrail that can provide sufficient height from the viewpoint of safety even if the height of a wall part specifying an opening is low. SOLUTION: A handrail 1 comprises a handrail body 10 and a collared bar 16. The handrail body 10 is provided with a lower chord member extended substantially in a horizontal direction, a coping part 7, and a large number of bars 9 vertically extended to connect the lower chord member 8 and the coping part 7. The collared bar 16 is provided with an end bar 13 extended between the lower chord member 8 and the coping part 7 at an extended end 12 in the horizontal direction X of the handrail body 10 and fixed at both ends to the lower chord member 8 and the coping part 7, and a rigid collar part 15 protruded outward in the horizontal direction X within the extended face C of the handrail body 10 from the outer side face 14 of the end bar 13 substantially in the whole length of the end bar 13. The handrail 1 has a rigid handrail fixture 42 of L-shape for fixing the handrail body 10 to a wall part 3 of a structure by the collar part 15 of the collared bar 16.</p> |
