PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To dispense with the fractionation of the heating element used in the thermal fusion of a molded product at a time of the disposal of the molded product and to obtain a welding method high in welding strength and the heating element. SOLUTION: A heating element 4 using carbon fibers or a heating element obtained by coating or impregnating this heating element with a resin or a heating element wherein resin yarns are woven in a carbon fiber knitted fabric or a faric is interposed between a molded product 1 and a reinforcing plate 3 to apply voltage across the molded product 1 and the reinforcing plate 3 to weld both of them. By using the heating element 4 not based on a metal wire but based on a carbon fiber, it becomes unnecessary to fractionate the heating element 4 and the resin at a time of the disposal of the molded product 1 and the reinforcing plate 3. By coating or impregnating the heating element 4 of carbon fibers with the resin, welding strength can be increased. |
