PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To mold a molding with a good appearance stably without generating yellowing and foaming in the molding by a method in which a resin is heated/ dried and molded at a regulated heating cylinder temperature or below. SOLUTION: Molding material pellets which were dried in advance are charged into a hopper 1. The charged pellets fall into a heating cylinder 2 by their own weight to contact a screw 3 and are sent to the end part of the heating cylinder 2 gradually by the rotation of the screw 3. The temperature of the cylinder 2 is controlled at 340 deg.C or below. In advance of molding, a polymer of alicyclic structure is dried preliminarily. In this way. dissolved air in the polymer is removed to prevent the generation of yellowing on the surface of a molding due to oxidative deterioration. Since the temperature of the heating cylinder is controlled at 340 deg.C or below, a molding of good appearance can be molded stably without generating foaming in the molding.
