<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To conveniently remove an org. suspended matter, etc., from industrial waste liq. or sewage, to easily remove Cr from a waste ferric chloride soln. contg. dissolved Cr and to recover Ni from the waste ferric chloride soln. SOLUTION: Ferrous chloride and a carbonate are supplied to a waste liq. contg. org. suspended matter to form a solid component (FeCO3 ) contg. iron, the solid component and suspended matter are coprecipitated, and the solid component coprecipitated with the suspended matter is separated from the waste liq. Since the solid component is easy to filter, a centrifugation filter medium can be used. Iron powder, for example, is introduced into a waste ferric-chloride etchant to reduce the ferric ion to ferrous ion, the ferrous ion is reacted with a carbonate to form an iron-contg. solid component, and Cr and Ni are coprecipitated with the solid component.</p> |
