PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress the adhesion of abrasive powder to an article surface to be polished by using a mixed medium consisting of metal medium and resin medium, and performing the polishing while intermittently or continuously sending ionized air shower to a mass. SOLUTION: When a mass 5 is put in a dry barrel finishing machine, and a mass driving means 4, a dust collector 9 and an ionized air shower generating source 12 are operated, the mass 5 is moved in an arrowed direction A and polished. At this time, a dust collecting air flow entering into a polishing tank 1 through an inlet 10 and reaching the dust collector 9 through the mass 5 and a dust collecting chamber 7 is generated, and the mass 5 is regularly cooled by the dust collecting air flow, so that the efficient polishing can be stably continued. Further, an ionized air shower B is injected toward the mass 5 from a static eliminator 12, whereby the static electricity generated in the mass 5 by flowing is quickly removed, and the abrasive powder adhered to an article to be polished is fallen. The free abrasive powder is carried and collected to the dust collector 9. |
