PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance the antistatic properties without impairing the transparency of a sheet by forming a surface layer formed of a composition containing a specific amount of a glycerine fatty ester on the both surfaces of a transparent polyester resin base layer. SOLUTION: A surface layer composed of a composition containing 0.05-2 pts.wt. glycerine fatty ester to 100 pts.wt. polyester resin is formed on the both surfaces of a transparent polyester resin base layer. The glycerine fatty ester to be used is a glycerine monopalmitate, a glycerine monostearate, a glycerine monobehenate, a glycerine monocaprylate or the like. Thus it is possible to minimize the deterioration of the transparency of a polyester sheet which is caused by the addition of an additive, since it is contained in only the thin surface of both surface layers of the base layer, and at the same time, enhance the antistatic properties. Therefore, this multi-layer polyester sheet can be best suitably used for fabrication by bending or the like. |
