PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To sufficiently provide adhesive properties with a resin without using a polymer adhesive by laminating an aluminum foil for resin laminate obtained by treating one side surface of both side surfaces with a coupling agent and the foil and the resin. SOLUTION: The aluminum foil is treated on its one side surface or both side surfaces with a coupling agent. As the agent, for example, a silane coupling agent is used. As the silane coupling agent, aγ-aminopropyltriethoxysilane is exemplified. The agent is used by dissolving it in a suitable solvent. To treat the foil, the one or both side surfaces are covered with the thus regulated agent solution, and dried to removed the solvent. A composite material is obtained by laminating the foil treated with the agent and various type resin. As the resin, a resin film of polyethylene, polyester, nylon or the like are used.
