PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the thickness of a recording apparatus by providing a sheet material having a conductive substance electrically connected to the ground of the main body of a recording apparatus between the hole part formed in an exterior cover and a substrate. SOLUTION: A recording apparatus is constituted of a substrate 57 having a pattern 57a and a tact switch 57b provided thereto, the shield plate 56 arranged so as to cover the upper part of the substrate 57 and the upper case 100 arranged on the upper surface of the shield plate 56 and having a hole part 100c in which a key top 108a is fitted formed thereto. A power supply switch 106 and an error release switch 107 are respectively constituted of key tops 108a and tact switches 57b. The static electricity 63 from a charged user 65 is discharged to the shield plate 56 from the gap between the hole part 100c and the power supply switch 106 to flow to the ground through the shield plate 56.
