PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain functional water which is an aqueous solution containing pharmacodynamically effective ingredients and drinkable without any sense of incompatibility as compared with that of tap water. SOLUTION: This functional water is prepared by dissolving pharmacodynamically effective ingredients contained in a herb and/or a medicinal herb (citric acid, malic acid, cynarine, santonin, various vitamins, etc.), in water and is odorless, tasteless and colorless. The pharmacodynamically effective ingredients are contained in an amount of 0.05-1.0 g/L. The functional water has efficacies such as sedative, diuretic, perspiring, fatigue recovering, digestion promoting or health promoting actions. |
