SILVER HALIDE PHOTOGRAPHIC SENSITIVE MATERIAL

摘要

PURPOSE:To obtain a silver halide photographic sensitive material excellently color sensitized and improved in the sensitivity to graininess ratio by specifying silver halide grains contained in one of emulsion layers and chemically sensitized. CONSTITUTION:The silver halide grains has a silver iodobromide phase containing silver iodide in an amount of 10-40mol% in the inside of each grain and coated with a silver halide layer lower in the silver iodide content than this phase, and the surface of each grain is made of silver halide containing >=5mol% silver iodide at the depth of about 5nm measured by the XPS surface analytical method (X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy), thus permitting the obtained silver halide photographic sensitive material to be excellently color sensitized and small in deterioration of performances during storage under high humidity.
