PURPOSE:To form a bright surface having excellent metallic luster and corrosion resistance by forming a pure Al film having a prescribed thickness by a dry surface treatment which is a PVD method on a desired bright surface of an Al casting wheel subjected to a degreasing and film removing treatment, then subjecting said surface to an anodizing treatment and clear painting treatment. CONSTITUTION:The pure Al film having 0.3-5mum, more preferably 0.5-3mum thickness is formed by the dry surface treatment which is any of a vacuum deposition method, ion plating method or sputtering method on the desired bright surface obtd. by machining the desired surface of the base material for the above-mentioned wheel to prescribed smoothness. The desired bright surface formed with the pure Al film is then subjected to the anodizing treatment by which the anodized film is formed to 0.5-3mum thereon. The anodized film is in succession subjected to a rinsing and warm rinsing treatment, then to the clear painting treatment. The clear painting is executed by using a water soluble or solvent type resin paint consisting of an acrylic resin, polyester resin, etc., and forming a coated film to 5-40mum by air spray painting, etc. The partial bright treatment of the above-mentioned wheel is thus completed.
