Described here is a pig track (2), which has an activity area (17), as well as a play area (16), supplied with litter material. There is a hole (12) for piglets arranged in the path with an opening (15) which faces towards the play area (16). On each side of the piglet hole (12), a board (18) is deployed which acts as a leader surface and ends directly adjacent to each side of the hole entrance (15). In order to keep the track' environs (15 and 16) free from excrement, there is an opening (7) from the activity area (17) to a manure area (11) outside the track's area. The manure area (11) should preferably be in the fresh air outside the building where the track has been placed. The animals will follow their nature and relieve themselves in the manure area, whereby the stalls are kept free of ammoniac vapours.<IMAGE>
