PURPOSE:To more correctly discriminate, in a word ending in s', whether 'on s is a single quotation mark or an apostrophe by counting the number of (space)' in the sentence and the number of '(space) and deciding one based on the scale relation. CONSTITUTION:When there is s'(space) in an English text, whether this ' is a single quotation mark, or an apostrophe is judged as correctly as possible. According to the method for processing, excluding that results from abbreviation of date, month and year (for instance, '86), the number N for each of (space)'(quote in=qi) and '(space)(quote out=qo) is counted. On the quote outending in -s'(space), at the time of Nqi>=Nqo, the quote out is recognized (immediately near quote in and quote out of a pair are considered to be the start and the end of the block). At the time of Nqi<Nqo, it is recognized as the apostrophe. When -s is a noun and a proper noun, it is a possessive case and forms except them are neglected.
