The invention relates to flipper for swimming and diving purposes, comprising a shoe part and a flipper blade, whereby the flipper blade can be pivotally mounted on the shoe part via a joint and fastened to the tip of said shoe part. The joint is arranged on the sole of the shoe part in such a way that the flipper blade can be pivoted against the tibia and the flipper blade has two lateral arms which can be connected to said joint. The flipper blade consists of a spring-loaded rod in the tip of the shoe part and an opposite recess in the flipper blade. The shoe part consists of a channel with a traction element to actuate the rod. |
