The apparatus is in particular intended for removal of nerve bones from a split and/or filleted fish (7) and comprises a fish bone extracting unit (1) with a driven, rotatable member (2) carrying bone engaging means (3), and a counter-pressure element (4) close to the rotatable member (2) for cooperation with the bone engaging means (3). The bone extracting unit (1) is movably and partially relievedly suspended above a conveyor (5) for conveying fish (7). |
