PURPOSE:To permit easy correction of uneven colors, coloring, etc., to a uniform color tone by sticking a colored film for correcting color tones to a panel. CONSTITUTION:The colored film 23 is stuck to the front face of an upper transparent substrate 1 of the liquid crystal display panel 21 having plural pieces of liquid crystal cell. This film 23 is such colored film of a gray color, etc. that the quantity of transmitted light is large in uneven color regions A, B of the small quantity of transmitted light appearing blackish in a white display or nondisplay state and the quantity of transmitted light is small in the other regions. The fluctuation in the inter-substrate distance, the uneven colors in the region near the inlet of a liquid crystal injection port, the coloring by the dispersion in the thickness of the liquid crystal of the monochromatic display panel, etc., are, therefore, easily corrected to the uniform color tone. The similar results are also obtainable, even if the film is stuck to the rear face of the liquid crystal display panel.
