PURPOSE:To attain low power consumption by constituting a speech path memory and a control memory included in a time switch by a dynamic RAM. CONSTITUTION:The speech path memory SPM and the control memory CM included in the time switch of a time division exchange system are constituted by the dynamic RAM. Thus, the power consumption of the dynamic RAM is less and also all addresses of the speech path memory SPM and the control memory CM are accessed periodically at a prescribed period to apply refreshing dispensable to the dynamic RAM automatically. Thus, it is not required to provide a refresh control circuit for refreshing and the constitution of the time switch is simplified and the low power consumption and low cost of a time division digital exchange are realized.
