The plug connection can be used in electrical engineering forthe connection and disconnection of users to electric powersources, and in particular for electric forklift trucks and othertransport vehicles for connection and disconnection of the storagebattery to the electrical installation of the electric forklifttruck or the storage battery to an external charging device. Ithas higher operational reliability. The plug connection consistsof two symmetrical halves each of which includes an upper (1) andlower (2) shell in which there are seats where the main contactbodies are fitted, some of which have knife-type profile (3), andthe others have semicylindrical profile (4). Improvement of thegalvanic connection between the contact bodies is attained when apressing force of two springs (5), the other ends of which lie inseato (6) is formed together with shim (7) acting on the innersurface of the main contact bodies having semicylindrical form(4). Auxiliary contact bodies (8 & 9) also lie in seats formed bythe upper and lower shell for each of the symmetrical halves forswitching on/off the operative circuitry, as well as seats forfasteners. One of the symmetrical halves has a handle (10) forconvenient connection/disconnection of the plug connection, and abracket can be fitted to the other half for fixed connection (11).3 claims, 2 figures/!
