The invention refers to an adjustable weightlifting bar, which is used in body-building or any other sport as a means of training by doing weight exercises, and solves the problem of the hand joints being overstrained, by allowing the inclination angles of the bar handles to change within a range from 0 to 45 degrees. The bar is made up of a handle inclination adjusting mechanism consisting of a threaded bush (6) with a thread on the left and one on the right, and some threaded rods (7) jointed, by means of some bolts (8), with some hooks (9) which are welded to some handles (3) jointed, by means of some bolts (2), to a body (1) onto which are also welded some hooks (10) that are jointed with some pegs (11) which, together with other hooks (12) welded onto some ends (5), form a quadrangular mechanism that ensures the coaxiality of these ends (5) onto which the discs are mounted.
