PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical isolator module for preventing the re-coupling to a semiconductor laser element (LD) of reflected LD light without lowering the coupling efficiency to an optical fiber of a laser beam (LD light). SOLUTION: This optical isolator module 1 is provided with a ferrule 4 for mounting the optical fiber whose tip is inclined, an optical isolator 7 arranged on the light incident side of the ferrule 4 and a transparent body 8 arranged on the light incident side of the optical isolator 7, transmits the LD light emitted from the LD and converged by a converging lens through the transparent body 8 and the optical isolator 7 and makes it incident on the tip of the optical fiber. The transparent body 8 is constituted of a transparent material whose cross section is wedge-shaped provided with a light incident surface inclined in the opposite direction of the inclined direction of the optical fiber tip. Also, for the optical isolator 7 and the transparent body 8, the respective light incident and emission surfaces of the optical isolator 7 and the optical isolator side light incident and emission surfaces of the transparent body 8 are obliquely arranged so as to be inclined in the same direction as the inclined direction of the optical fiber tip to the optical axis of the optical fiber inside the ferrule. |
