摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve heat exchange efficiency high in electrothermal area/volume, by equipping a heat exchange unit with a heat exchange element consisting of a single heat conductive sheet corrugated in cross section within a thin rectangularly parallelepipedic casing, accommodating partition material at the crest of each wavy pattern of this sheet, forming air ducts before and behind the partition material, and letting counterflows flow with the sheet between. SOLUTION: A heat exchange element composed of a pair of divisions 14 and 15 is equipped with a single heat conductive sheet 18 corrugated in cross section having a crest 21 and a trough 36, a frame 19, and a pair of partition materials along the crest 21 of the wavy pattern. Each partition material 20 is made of a thin plate such as an aluminum foil or the like, and it partitions off air ducts 22 and 23 between itself and the face of the heat conductive sheet 18, and it is provided with inlets 24 and 25 and outlets 26 and 27. Air flowing in each air duct 22 and 23 is arranged to form a counterflow against each other when flowing along the partition material 20 so as to raise the heat exchange efficiency. The divisions 14 and 15 have space 32 and 33 leading to the inlet 25 and outlet 27 of the air duct 23, and are provided with openings 30, 31, 34, and 35 leading to outside.
