PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To control a speaking instrument and a video device while interlocking them concerning an interphone system with bidirectional video function connecting plural rooms such as sickrooms in a hospital and a control room such as a nurse room through a single pair wire. SOLUTION: This system is provided with a personal terminal means 2 installed for each of plural rooms while having speaking means 21 and 23, an image pickup means 25a and an image display means 25b, a managing terminal means 1 for managing the respective rooms through the personal terminal means while having a speaking means 11, an image display means 23c and an image pickup means 12b, and control means 3 for connecting the personal terminal means and the managing terminal means through a single pair line L and when calling from the speaking means 23 of the personal terminal means to the speaking means 11 of the managing terminal means is detected, the control means connects both speaking means and automatically transmits bodirectional video signals picked up by the respective image pickup means 25a and 12b to the respective image display means 12c and 25d at the same time. |
