PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make the capacitance large and reduce the electric resistance by providing an active C fiber layer with active C powder, conducting agent and binder buried therein and a collector electrically connected to the active C fiber layer. SOLUTION: A phenol resin powder is dissolved in methanol, a conducting agent is added thereto and dispersion-mixed until being uniform, active C fibers made of a phenol resin and collector metal made of a metal are adhered, using a conductive adhesive, the active C fibers made of a phenol resin, collector metal made of a metal, conducting agent and methanol are dispersion-mixed until being uniform, the mixture is coated on the active C fiber faces of the active C fibers with the collector metal mounted thereon and dried and heated to form an active C electrode. The conducting agent contains at least either acetylene black or ketene black. |
