PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the machine translation device which generates a user dictionary for a field that a user uses without troubling the user, switches user dictionaries according to the field of the original to be translated without troubling the user, and easily assists the improvement of translation quality. SOLUTION: This machine translation device is equipped with an input part 101 which inputs the original text, indications for operation, and technical term dictionary data, a technical term dictionary installer 102 which installs technical term dictionaries, a technical term dictionary storage part 103 which stores the technical term dictionaries, a user dictionary generation part 104 which generates user dictionaries, a user dictionary storage part 105 which stores the user dictionaries, a dictionary selection part 105 which selects a technical term dictionary and a user dictionary, a translation part 107 which translates the original text, a display part 108 which outputs a translation, and a control part 109 which controls the respective parts. |
