PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To create the three-dimensional image of a complicated shape from an easily plottable two-dimensional image. SOLUTION: When a plotting operation is performed in a digitizer 4, density data to be stored in one of a density layer 0 data memory 10a density layer (n) data memory 1n are created by a brush shape generated in a brush generation part 5. In a distance data memory 8, a distance to a basic coordinate point for a basic shape is initialized. Based on two-dimensional density data selected in a selection part 9, a distance computation part 20 computes a deformation amount for deforming respective points on the basic shape. The selection part 9 successively reads the density data provided with plural layer structure and makes a normal line direction at the respective points be calculated by a normal line calculation part 21 from data near the respective points on the basic shape or a deformed basic shape. A rendering processing part 22 performs deformation at the respective points on the basic shape or the deformed shape in the normal line direction and display is performed as the image in a display device 24. |
