The hydraulic cylinder is connected to the piston rod through sectional rings, mounted in the circumferential sockets of the piston rod and in the half-open sockets of the piston, so that one of the sectional rings is positioned on the piston rod, at one end of the piston, while the piston is immobilized at the other end on the piston rod by means of a resilient ring. The piston consists of at least two segments that are similarly positioned on the piston rod. Unique characteristics: A structural slit is created between the neighbouring piston segments, the proceeding segment (3) and the following segment (4), while each segment is connected to the piston rod (1) by means of only one sectional ring (2). The sectional ring (2) is located in the half-open socket (9) of the proceeding segment (3), located at the side of the following segment (4). The sectional ring protrudes from the socket (9) and its external front surface adheres to the front surface of the following segment (4).
