<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cable protecting tube which can form a long duct even if a manhole is not laid when laying a cable in the ground. SOLUTION: A middle-contracted cylindrical roller 10 is arranged rotatably in the vicinity of the inside of the inside periphery of the tube body 6 which is curved in the shape of a circle with a specified curvature. Thereupon, when a cable 13 made of twisted three wires 13a is pulled into a cable protective tube 2, the cable 13 advances while being in a state of floating within the tube body 6.
