PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate any torsion lying between a shift fork and a fork shaft due to an action of select direction load to a fork head of the shift fork in time of a select operation by an operating lever, and also to secure a smooth sliding motion on the fork shaft of the shift fork due to excessive sliding resistance lying between both of them, in a single rail type shift operating device. SOLUTION: A housing shift lever 15 is fitted and fixed on a fork shaft 11, and an one end side end face of the housing shift lever 15 is slidably supported by a supporting pin 17 installed in a case 21, and two groove parts 15e and 15f being engaged with the supporting pin 17 and regulating the select direction operation of the fork shaft 11 are formed in the one end side end face of the housing shift lever 15, and the fork shaft 11 is rotated at an accurate position preset, regulating it so as to carry out the select direction operation. |
