PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To supply a large power to a lamp-ignition driving apparatus, by using as a boosting circuit the resonance circuit composed of a resonance coil and resonance capacitor coupled to both the ends of a push-pull transformer. SOLUTION: A resonance transformer 6 uses the coil end of a wire L1 and the coil start of a wire L2 as inputs, and the resonance transformer 6 is connected with the drains of bidirectional switching transistors 3, 4. Using as its outputs the coil start of the wire L1 and the coil end of the wire L2, the resonance transformer 6 is connected with both the terminals of a resonance capacitor 7 and a plurality of front and rear surface inputs of a piezoelectric ceramic transformer 8. Then, when the bidirectional switching transistor 3 is turned on and its drain voltage becomes rapidly at a low level, a voltage double the power supply voltage is generated in the drain of the bidirectional switching transistor 4, which is permitted to flow to GND through the winding L1 of the resonance transformer 6, the resonance capacitor 7, the winding L2 of the resonance transformer 6, and via the drain of the bidirectional switching transistor 3. As a result, the feed of a large power is made possible. |
