<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrofusion joint which can control calorific value with a self-control function and to be certainly fused with a pipe to be connected without requiring facility such as a power supply controller in an application. SOLUTION: This electrofusion joint is equipped with a pipe joint body 11 comprising a tubular synthetic resin having a pipe connecting portion 11a fused and connected with a pipe P to be connected inside of it, and heating elements 14 which are arranged in the pipe connecting portion 11a and heat and fuse the pipe connecting portion 11a by heating following the conduction. A fuse sensor 12 is arranged in series in a conduction passage 15 of the heating elements 14 and outside of the pipe connecting portion 11a, a reinforcement member 13 made of thermoplastic resin of which softening temperature is equal to or lower than the softening temperature of the pipe joint body 11 is provided on at least one side of inside and outside of the fuse sensor 12, and a relief 16 is provided on the outside of the fuse sensor 12 of the pipe joint body 11.</p> |
