<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow a system to relieve a load of each relay node and to easily cope with a revised node in a network. SOLUTION: This multi-cast transfer system places a multi-cast node 25 in an asynchronous transfer mode ATM connectionless network 20 and builds up a tree for multi-cast transfer using a plurality of edge nodes 23 for destinations for each user contained by each edge node. Then the tree for the multi-cast transfer is dynamically changed by a control message. Thus, management processing for the multi-cast transfer tree by each relay node 24 is eliminated, the load is avoided and the revision of the transfer tree due to a link fault or the like is easily conducted.</p> |
