PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a camera capable of selecting photographing operation in accordance with a user's experience degree to the camera or a photographing condition. SOLUTION: A release button is made to be depressed to a half-depressing position where it is depressed to a shallow position and a full-depressing position where it is depressed to a deep position further. By operating a mode selection knob and selecting a release mode, a photographing operation executed when the release button is depressed to the half-depressing position is selected out of photometry, range-finding and focusing. In a mode 1, only the photometry is performed when the release button is depressed to the half-depressing position and the range-finding and the focusing are performed and then an exposure operation to expose a photographic film is performed when the release button is depressed to the full-depressing position. In a mode 2, the photometry and the range-finding are performed when it is depressed to the half-depressing position and the focusing and the exposure operation are performed when it is depressed to the full-depressing position. In a mode 3, the photometry and the range-finding and the focusing are performed when it is depressed to the half-depressing position and the exposure operation is performed when it is depressed to the full-depressing position. |
