PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method wherein positioning with no polishing on a side does not cause splash of ceramics powder on a glaze player. SOLUTION: A ceramics substrate with glaze layer comprises a front surface 1a and a backside 1b as well as a side 1c connecting them, with a glaze layer 3 provided on the surface 1a while providing a return line for division on the backside 1b. The surface 1a of the side 1c is such form as a series of funnel-like laser spot holes LS formed by laser beam irradiated from the surface 1a, with an angleαformed between the side 1c and the surface 1a being an obtuse angle. Since a surface side of the side 1c (return-line side part 1s) dies not hit a reference pin PI even when the ceramics substrate is made to hit a reference pin side PIa for positioning, a ceramics substrate 1 is not crushed by hitting to cause ceramics powder, nor splash is caused on the front surface 1a or the glaze layer 3 even if ceramics powder is produced on the backside.
