PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a portable terminal by which arrival of a call signal is confirmed without taking surrounding noise and time into account. SOLUTION: When a call signal received by the transmission/reception part 2 of a portable terminal A is coincident with its own telephone number, received information outputted from the transmission/reception part 2 is given to a control section 1, and a call selection section 10 checks a noise level stored in advance in a storage section 5 with a surrounding noise level detected by a noise detection section 9. As a result of the check, the call selection section 10 selects a prescribed notification means such as a vibrator 8 or a ring section 7 and the selected means notifies a person carrying the portable terminal A of the reception of the call signal. |
