PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To manage the salability and the stock of merchandises in respective stores, adding them up in a center and to analyze salability information in a nationwide scale or by individual areas by writing information on a specified merchandise into the prescribed column of a merchandise registration table and setting it to be the merchandise master of the specified merchandise. SOLUTION: It is judged whether attribute information related to a specified merchandise to be managed exists in previously inputted attribute information or not. When attribute information related to the managed specified merchandise exists in merchandise code attribute information, attribute information related to the specified merchandise is selected from a merchandise code attribute displayed on a display 14. The attribute information is written in the pertinent column of a merchandise registration table. Merchandise code attribute information related to the specified merchandise is inputted from a keyboard and it is written into the pertinent column of the merchandise registration table. Numeric information related to the size of the specified merchandise is also written into the pertinent column of the merchandise registration table. A merchandise master equivalent to the merchandise ledger of the specified merchandise is completed. |
