<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrically fusing device for an electrofusion joint which can be used for a joint of which fusion conditions is derived by reading a bar code, a joint by reading resistance value of an identification resistance buried in a terminal, and a joint by reading resistance value of a heating wire. SOLUTION: This electrically fusing device for an electrofusion joint consists of a reading device 14 of a bar code adhered to the joint, a judging device 18 which reads a resistance value by conducting inspection current through the joint, searches a fusion condition corresponding to the resistance value from a table related to identification resistance values and heating wire resistance values stored in a storage device 15 and a fusion condition, and when there is no fusion condition corresponding to the resistance value, judges that it is a bar-code-reading-type joint, a monitor television 21 for displaying the judgment result using sound and image, a comparing device 19 which extracts a heating wire resistance value from information read from the bar code and compares it with a resistance value derived by conducting inspection current through the heating wire, and a control portion 23 which starts fusion by controlling a switch 13 on when the both coincide.</p> |
