STATOR CORE AND ITS MANUFACTURE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To shorten the time required for winding a plurality of belt-like bodies around a stator core without deteriorating the performance of the stator core by integrally forming the belt-like bodies at the time of winding the bodies. SOLUTION: A plurality of belt-like bodies 2 in each of which teeth sections 2a and a core back section 2b are formed is punched from one thin steel sheet strip. Then, a laminated belt-like body 10 is formed by piling up the belt-like bodies 2 upon another in such a way that their teeth sections 2a and core back sections 2b are superposed upon another and forming the laminated belt-like bodies 2 integrally. Then a stator core is obtained by spirally winding the laminated body 10 and forming the wound laminated body 10 integrally.
