PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To precisely perform density control of a toner image by an image forming device. SOLUTION: This device is allowed to precisely detect a position of a photoreceptor drum 1 surface by forming phase mark M1 on the photoreceptor drum 1 surface, and detecting same by a phase sensor. Since the device is made possible to form plural toner images (patch) for measuring the density on the photoreceptor drum 1 surface, and to correct the density data base on the base data corresponding to that patch, the density control can be precisely performed. As a result, in the image forming device adopting a process cartridge, the need of providing extensive memory in the process cartridge is eliminated. |
