PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate manufacture and to prevent the rupture of an organic EL structure by providing a transparent plate having a column in the organic EL structure-unlaminated part and sealing the structure arranged by providing a prescribed void on the structure supported by the column. SOLUTION: A display has an organic EL structure by laminating an electron injection electrode 16, an organic layer 17 and a hole injection electrode 18 in order on a base board 11, and has a column 20 in this structure-unlaminated part. The structure does not make contact with a transparent plate 23 having a fluorescent converting layer 22 and/or a color filter layer 21 by this column 21, so that the rupture of the structure can be prevented. Its handling is also facilitated. A height of the column 20 is preferably set to a range of 1 to 10 μm. A void between the structure and the fluorescent converting layer 22 is desirably set to 0.5 to 5 μm. The transparent plate 23 preferably has not less than 70% in transmissivity of the emitting light. |
