PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a plasma display panel capable of discharging with a low voltage in a discharge space. SOLUTION: This plasma display panel is provided with a front board 11 and a back board 21 to form a discharge space 30 composed of multiple discharge cells, display electrodes X, Y formed in parallel with each other interposing a gap region Z on the back board 21 side of the front board 11, and dielectric layers 17x, 17y covering at least the back board side of the display electrodes X, Y; and the dielectric layers 17x, 17y present a recessed part in the gap region Z in the discharge cells. |
