The automobile air conditioning equipment casing comprises two molded plastic parts (12,14) which are fitted together by assembly edges (20,22). One part (12) of the casing comprises, near its assembly edge (20), a fixing tab (26,28) molded with this part. The tab pivots between an open position, where it is separated from the second casing part, and a closed position where it is brought to the casing second part and engages locking edges (42,44).
