PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To expand the available range of housing goods into a horizontal type refrigerator by improving the structure thereof. SOLUTION: A heat insulating box body 12 wherein a top surface opening part 11 is provided on a top surface of the body 1 of the heat insulating box body, a frontage is provided on the bottom surface to match the top surface opening part 11 and a freely openable or closeable door 13 is arranged on the front or the top surface is installed. Both of the box body and the body thereof are cooled by a cooling unit to allow one machine to play roles of two kinds of machines.
