<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To transmit even a special original having a base as an original, that is easy to read without making an image dark by switching the intensity of resolution, in accordance with an original mode and correcting the original. SOLUTION: An operator sets a transmission line density signal and an original mode signal and inputting them to a resolution correction processing part 303 through an operation panel 301, and the transmission line density signal is also inputted to a line density converting part 304 at the same time. When an image sensor 302 reads an original, converts it into an electric signal in which white is zero and black is one and inputs it to the part 303, and when it is an original having a base and also the transmission line density signal is lower than the line density of an image scanner, a resolution set value selector 101 selects a resolution set value to the original and weakens the emphasis degree of the resolution. Next, a resolution correction circuit 104 performs correction processing, such as edge enhancement on an output signal of the sensor 302 based on the selector 101. Thus, it is possible for a receiver to read characters clearly, without making the base part of an original black.</p> |
