PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat-developable image recording material developable at lower developing temperatures. SOLUTION: This heat-developable image recording material is provided on a support with an image recording layer containing a nonphotosensitive organic silver salt and a reducing agent capable of reducing this nonphotosensitive organic silver salt and a thermoplastic polymer binder and this recording material also contains a compound represented by the formula: A1 -C≡C-A2 in which each of A1 and A2 is, independently, an H atom or a <=total 16 C alkyl or aromatic group, and at least one of them is a <= total 16 C alkyl or aryl group substituted by a hydroxy group. |
